Most people do three rounds in a session. A host is always on the beach to show you the ropes. And the ladder.

the sea, todayDown the slipway ladder into the bay, or into the cold tub if the sea's rough. Breathe out slowly, then get out.

I've never done a sauna. Is this for me?+
Yes. About a third of every session is first-timers. A host walks you through it, the bottom bench is cooler, and nobody counts how long you stay in.
Do I have to get in the sea?+
No. There's a cold tub and outdoor showers, or you can just sit by the fire. Plenty of people never go near the water.
What do I bring?+
A swimsuit, a towel and something warm for afterwards. Flip-flops help on the pebbles. Robes are £4 to hire, free for Unlimited members.
Is it safe to swim at low tide?+
We only open the ladder when the water's deep enough and a lifeguard is on. The live tide in the header tells you when. At low tide the cold tub is ready.
Are sessions mixed?+
Yes, swimwear on. Thursday 18:00 is women and non-binary only, and you can hire the Dune privately any day.
Can I cancel?+
Move or cancel up to 12 hours before for free. Memberships roll monthly and you can stop any time.
